Profs. Georg Reiser and Klaus Reymann, the Presidents of the previous Magdeburg Conferences say:

“The Magdeburg meeting conference series on Neuroprotection and Neurorepair meanwhile has a good tradition and is a well-established international conference on basic research and clinical aspects in stroke and brain ischemia research– in particular there is an intensive exchange between young scientists and senior experts from our field.

For the 6^th conference we decided to widen the board and to change the location moving to the Baltic Sea in the very North of Germany. We hope to meet our old friends and many new colleagues in Rostock, and we are sure that Johannes Boltze and his team will organize a wonderful meeting”
