Dear Colleagues and friends,

The 6th International Symposium on Neuroprotection and Neurorepair is over and we would like to thank you all for your participation and support. To us, the conference has been a complete success and we hope you will agree to that view. The invited speakers provided a perfect cross between cutting-edge results and sophisticated overviews and we were particularly happy about the abundance of high quality abstracts that were submitted and presented at the conference. The pleasant venue of Hohe Düne and the sunny late summer days helped to create a holiday atmosphere and we are absolutely convinced that the Baltic Sea breeze had significantly increased our neuroactivity. Please tell your colleagues and friends about the meeting and attend our next Symposium in spring 2012. With your help and contribution, we would like to continue the tradition of the Magdeburg meeting series and establish a European platform for Neuroprotection and Neurorepair.
