Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce the 6th International Symposium on Neuroprotection and Neurorepair to be held from October 01st to October 04th 2010 in Rostock. Firstly established in 1998 by the Professors Georg Reiser and Klaus Reymann from Magdeburg, the conference has over the years developed to a highly reputed meeting in the field of basic and applied neuroscience. The meeting will henceforth be organized concertedly by the founders and young scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology in Leipzig.
The successful philosophy of the meeting is the fusion of scientific excellence an appropriate space for fruitful discussions and the exchange of ideas. The attendances of leading experts from internationally renowned scientific institutes permit a straightforward and fruitful scientific debate that will be enhanced by the maritime flair of the conference venue as well as the relatively small number of participants. An excellent social program will furthermore allow you to refresh old friendships and to form new ones.
The presentation and discussion of current research results will, however, not be limited to senior experts. Young academics will have the opportunity to present outstanding talks to a selected audience of specialists beyond the traditional poster presentations.
The main scientific focus of the conference is the exploration of cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain ischemia and potential mediators of neuroprotection and neurorepair. We would like to welcome you to our 2010 Symposium and propose to explore this homepage in detail to learn about our current scientific program and the conference venue.
Sincerely,
Organization team
